Family Visas and Citizenship

Denver Area Immigration Attorneys

Hoping to bring a fiancé/fiancée or other family member to the United States? Seeking legal help with adjustment of status or U.S. citizenship?

The immigration lawyers at the McGuire Law Firm can help. We work with families in the United States who have family members who want to become green card holders or permanent residents. We also work with families located abroad who wish to immigrate to the United States. Our firm regularly works with consulates abroad in the filing of fiancé/fiancée visas (K-1 and K-2 visas) and spousal visas (K-3 and immigrant visas) for our clients.

Our clients come from countries close to home and from around the world including: Mexico, Canada, Philippines, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, India, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and countries in Africa. We have successfully helped in bringing fiancés/fiancées, spouses, parents, children, brothers and sisters together.

We help families unite and stay together. Contact our Lakewood law office to schedule an appointment.

Our Family Immigration Services

Consular processing: We can assist you with consular processing for both non-immigrant and immigrant visas. We work with United States consulates around the globe to help with the application process for K visas (K-1, K-3), immigrant visas, visitor visas, and waivers of inadmissibility.

Adjustment of status: When your family member is in the United States and is determined to be eligible to apply for a green card, our firm can assist in filing your application.

Removal of conditions on residency: Your status is considered "conditional" if you acquired permanent residency through marriage and your marriage was less than two years old at the time you became a lawful permanent resident. The next step in the process toward continued permanent residency and possible citizenship is a petition to "remove the conditions" on your residency.

Citizenship: Is U.S. citizenship an option for you? Our immigration attorneys can answer your questions about citizenship, including questions of eligibility after criminal charges or convictions. We can advocate for you before the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), and can help you prepare for the citizenship examination and interview.
